RJ45 crimper the precision-molded metal head or jaw inside an Ethernet crimping tool that presses down on the pins of an RJ45 modular plug to lock the wires in place.
Key Functions of the Crimper Die
Pin Depression: Forces the gold contact pins (teeth) down into the individual copper wires inside the RJ45 plug to make a solid electrical connection.
Strain Relief Crimp: Clamps the rear plastic tab of the connector onto the outer cable jacket to prevent the wires from pulling loose.
Modular Compatibility: Dies come in specific sizes for 8-position (8P8C for RJ45) or pass-through vs. standard non-pass-through designs.
