1.20x20cm HDF parquet flooring
High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) is an engineered wood product. It is made of tiny wood fibers compressed tightly under high heat and pressure. This dense core makes the material hard, heavy, and resistant to dents.
Structure of HDF Parquet
HDF parquet (often used interchangeably with laminate flooring) typically has four main layers: Back Layer: A moisture-barrier backing that stabilizes the plank and stops warping.
Core Layer: The thick, sturdy HDF board that gives the plank its strength.
Decorative Layer: A high-resolution printed photographic image that mimics the look and color of real wood.
Wear Layer: A clear, tough top coating that protects against scratches, stains, and fading.
