Senior Project Accountant

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee End-to-end accounting for multiple interior fit-out projects, including cost control and reporting. • Set up and manage cost center for each project to ensure precise cost tracking. • Prepare project budget, cash flows, cost-to-complete reports, and monthly financial summaries. • Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to verify expenses and control overhead • Ensure all accounting records comply with UAE standards and company policies • Maintain accurate documentation and digital records for all financial and contractual data • Utilize and guide team members in using ERO or accounting software efficiently for reporting and data entry • Develop and standardize financial reporting templates and systems • Support the finance team in VAT filing, audit and client invoicing

• minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a fit-out or interior contracting company in ethiopia • strong knowledge of cost center accounting, project based financial tracking, and construction billing • proficiency in erp/ accounting tools like tally, microsoft, quickbooks, sap, zoho, oracle, etc • excellent skills in excel for financial analysis and reporting • bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or commerce ( cos, cma, acca qualifications are an advantage ) • strong communication, organization, and leadership skills • ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
