Thermal overload relay Model LR2D1316 the device used in industrial motor control to protect motors from overloads
LR2D1316 is a thermal overload relay designed to protect motors from overcurrent and overheating. It senses excessive current (which causes heat) and trips to disconnect the motor, preventing damage. It is part of the TeSys LR2D series from Telemecanique (now under Schneider Electric).
