Vega is a face-recognition attendance and payroll system built for Ethiopian businesses. A tablet at the entrance recognizes each employee by face; they tap Check in, Break or Check out, and a photo is kept with every punch, so no one can clock in for a colleague. Records appear live in a web dashboard showing who is present, late or absent across every branch, with Excel reports. Vega handles shifts, rotations, leave and overtime, then turns attendance into payroll with Ethiopian income tax, pension and pay slip, using the Ethiopian calendar. Employees and managers use Telegram to check hours, request leave, swap shifts and get late alerts. The tablet keeps working offline and syncs when the internet returns. Businesses can have Vega installed for them or sign up online for a yearly subscription and set it up on their own Android device.
