The Canon EOS 1200D (known as the EOS Rebel T5 in North America) is the older brother to the 4000D. Released in 2014, it sits in a very interesting position: despite being four years older than the 4000D, the 1200D actually has better build quality and physical features because Canon had not yet introduced the extreme cost-cutting measures found in the 4000D
