Key Responsibilities • Food Preparation: Cook and prepare menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. • Prep Work: Wash, chop, measure, and prepare ingredients (meat, vegetables, sauces) before service begins. • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation, including cooking surfaces, utensils, and equipment. • Food Safety: Adhere strictly to food health and safety regulations (e.g., proper food storage temperatures, avoiding cross-contamination). • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of ingredients, track waste, and report shortage items to management in a timely manner. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen assistants and front-of-house staff (waiters) to ensure smooth and fast service.
