Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX300
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX300 is a versatile bridge camera designed to deliver DSLR-style ergonomics and control alongside extreme telephoto reach without requiring interchangeable lenses. Equipped with a 20.4-megapixel 1/2.3-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor and a BIONZ image processor, its defining feature is a massive built-in 50x optical zoom Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens* (equivalent to 24–1200mm in 35mm terms). To counteract camera shake at such extreme focal lengths, it utilizes enhanced Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with active 3-way stabilization for video. Framed through either an electronic viewfinder (EVF) or a 3.0-inch tilting LCD screen, the camera offers full manual shooting modes (P/A/S/M), a manual focus/zoom barrel ring, 1080/60p Full HD video recording, and high-speed burst shooting up to 10 frames per second.
